Pam Cain has the experience people value. Pam began her 30-plus year banking career in 1984 at First National Bank -- now Commerce Bank -- in the operations department. She worked there for over 15 years in various areas, ending up in the new account department. She left Commerce in 1999 to work for Mid-America National Bank, a local community bank, as the assistant branch manager. “I loved the local community bank feel where decisions are made locally,” she says. That made the move to INB an easy decision.

“I have been with Illinois National Bank as the assistant branch manager at the Peoria office since its inception in 2007. In the beginning, our office was primarily a commercial branch; however, now we’re expanding the retail side of the branch.” This expansion means more interaction with customers . . . something Pam truly enjoys. Pam says: “There are lots of banks in Peoria, but we provide exceptional customer service. We develop relationships with our customers. For example, we open their personal accounts then see things through on all aspects of their financial portfolio. Our customers are important to us and we value their business.”

In 2014, Pam was promoted to AVP, Peoria branch manager. She says, “I enjoy being involved in a successful organization where there are continued developmental opportunities like this.” In addition to her required bank duties, Pam has been involved with the United Way for many years, and serves as the campaign coordinator for the Peoria office. She recently began volunteering for Junior Achievement as a mentor to grade school children.

Pam was born and raised in Metamora, Ill. She married David, and they moved to nearby Washington. They have three boys: Kevin and Kyle who are 21 and Kody, who is 17.
