Zach Lammers is the youngest of four children and grew up in the small farming community of Breese, IL. He graduated from Breese Mater Dei High School and received his bachelor’s of science degree in business administration, specializing in finance and management, from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Zach’s banking career began with Regions Bank in Glen Carbon, IL, as a college senior, where he started as a personal banker before becoming assistant branch manager. He then moved to PNC Bank in Maryland Heights, MO, to become a branch manager and spent four years in retail until he was promoted to Business Banking with PNC. After a successful tenure there, Zach saw an opportunity to help a community Metro East bank move into St. Louis and help grow their commercial banking presence in St. Louis.

“After four years there and growing their portfolio to $100MM, that bank sold, which is when I was introduced to INB,” he says. “After my initial interview with INB, I knew it seemed like a clear fit and a great opportunity to help them move into the St. Louis market.”

Zach joined INB in November 2018 as VP, commercial banking for the INB Chesterfield office. “What I enjoy most about my role is the relationships that I develop with my clients and the ability INB has given me to help them,” he says.

Zach is an active member of the community and is involved with the Knights of Columbus, the Alzheimer’s Association and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He is also a loyal St. Louis Cardinals and U of I basketball fan and follows both teams closely.

He enjoys staying active through playing golf, softball and basketball. And once a year, he joins a group of friends to hike in the mountains in either the Appalachians or the Rockies. During deer season, you can find him hunting on his plot of timber ground in Illinois.

One of his biggest priorities, though, is spending time with his family and watching them grow. Zach and his wife Jenn were married in 2015 and welcomed their first daughter in November 2017.
