Becky Luzinski is married to a home builder, so construction loans were a natural progression from her start in banking as a teller 25 years ago.

Becky says, “I started at Williamsville State Bank as a teller. My boss there was Mary Teubner, and, as a teller, there was down time so I asked her for more job duties. She tucked me under her wing and trained me on everything she knew. She started my career. I moved into the mortgage area where I processed and closed loans. I moved to Town & Country Bank in 1995 with her . . . and moved up to a mortgage lender.”

Becky joined INB in October 2000 as a mortgage lender. “I also managed the mortgage department and moved into commercial lending. . . When I interviewed with INB I asked if there was ever an opportunity to do construction loans; I wanted to be the construction lender. I’m married to a builder, so I’ve learned a lot in the building industry. When INB moved me to that position, there were a few builders who didn’t think I had the knowledge of the building industry, but now those builders call me for advice and my opinion. I keep up with building codes and anything coming down the pike that would affect builders, and I keep our builders informed of anything that I can pass along to them. I’ve been a member of the Springfield Area Home Builders Association for 18 years. I have been on the board of the association since 2010.

“Because I have mortgage as my background as well, I can help people build their new homes and set up permanent financing.” Becky can also help you with your second mortgages or home equity loan. She also works with clients on rental properties.
